So then why does Hermione find herself pregnant, in a loveless marriage, on the verge of crashing out?“I got some news today,” Hermione said brightly, her gaze flicking between Ron and the TV. He didn't look away, barely acknowledging her with an absent-minded, "Oh, yeah?"
She waited, willing his attention to shift so she could tell him—she was carrying his daughter.
But the longer he kept his eyes glued to the screen, the hotter her skin grew, a slow burn creeping up her neck and settling in her ears.
His fucking daughter.
He should want to hear what she had to say. After all, he had been the one who insisted she stop taking the contraceptive potion the night they were married.
This is my first fic.
