“Go. To. Hell,” Tally spat viciously.
The woman ripped her hand away from her face and turned her back to her. “The army has lied to you, Tally, the general herself has lied to you, you have been used and betrayed, yet you remain loyal. It would be so easy for you to make all of this end,”
“If I talked...the general...would do worse to me...than you ever could... Tally sputtered against the pain.
The woman turned again. “Sarah Alder can’t hurt you here, child, but we can, and we will if you don’t start talking,”

Summary
Once every generation, Sarah has to contribute to the witch population. She never carries her own child but chooses a witch worthy and of rare power that will carry the child. She has an affinity for a certain redhead. Neither truly understands what effect this kind of arrangement will have on their lives.

Their child would be lucky to have those eyes, Sarah thought. “Why me?”“Because you are of good lineage, you possess incredibly rare work, and beyond that, I personally know you have the heart for it. There is no one I would rather choose,” She tried to convey just how much she wanted Tally to be the one for this.

"Let me tell you what I think," Adora says, leaning her head forward so she was nearly touching Catra's to her own, "I think you like this little game of ours. You like my attention on you, you don't even care that practically everyone, including your friends, have been staring at us since you took my hand." It's a shot in the dark but Adora is trying to get a read on where Catra actually is, because this feels... intense, in a way Adora hasn't experienced before, and it doesn't fully feel like it's because they're so-called 'enemies'.
"A game? You think this is a game?" Catra raises her eyebrows at Adora's words. "I'm here to keep an eye on you, and that's it. Truly you need to get over yourself and bring that big ego of yours down a notch. It's pretty damn close to getting as big as your forehead." She bites back, a smirk on her lips.

Red, long hair is curling around a soft, beautiful face and big brown eyes are locked onto her blue ones, they remind her of her favorite kind of chocolate. Her eyes flutter when she spots deep, lovely dimples accompanied by the sweetest of smiles. After a few more seconds, Sarah realizes she’s staring and that she must come off like a total creep but…how in the world would she be able to stop looking?
