    The world comes into focus slowly. Fitz’s vision is foggy, dry eyes causing him to blink hard. Damn, he thinks, the lights are too fucking bright. The overhead bulbs pierce into his head, causing sharp spikes of pain to erupt each time he deigns to direct his eyes upwards.

    “What the fuck did I do yesterday?” He asks himself, looking down at his bare torso. His tunic’s missing. His pants too, apparently. In fact, by the looks of it, he slept on the floor of his bathroom in just his boxers. Which, of course, brings up the question once more: what the fuck did he do yesterday? There’s a blank space in his memory, but it feels fuzzy; tentatively, he pokes at it. The darkness gives a bit, which he takes as good news: he wasn’t completely blackout drunk.
