    Summary

Jaskier was the second most popular whore in all of Oxenfurt because his attention wasn’t an act; Jaskier fell in love easily and with almost everyone around him. He fell out of love just as quickly, which was a blessing because even a bard can only take so much heartbreak, but just a smile, a word, a glance or even a gesture and he was hopelessly in love. He loved almost all his customers earnestly and they always left with a spring in their step, a pleased blush on their cheeks or a small, secretive smile on kiss swollen lips.

He was authentic. Who knew that it would be his personality and not his species that would draw Witchers to him like moths to a flame?

    Or:

How Jaskier found out that he's catnip for witchers and permanently lost his heart to one (?) of them.

Chilling At Preservation While Leaving Station Security On Read

Canon divergence: consequences of arriving in Preservation with no human guardian, after not being involved with the events of Fugitive Telemetry.

You (SecUnit) have a to do list:
    - Media
    - Avoid prosecution for flouting imported goods regulation. (you are the imported goods. you imported yourself.)
    - Thwart unsanctioned surveillance. (ok so you are unsanctioned surveillance, technically. but not you, the other surveillance that definitely exists. you are not just being paranoid. there is definitely something weird going on. why does nobody ever listen to you.)
    - Keep all the annoying, ungrateful humans alive.

(Also there's probably a CombatUnit loose somewhere but who gives a crap about that? Station Security is who. But fuck 'em.)

    Summary

There was no madness in the eyes looking out from behind lank white hair, close enough he could reach out and brush it behind the witcher's ear.

"Are you bound to defend and serve me?" Julian asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Yes," the wolf growled, low and rumbling and nearly inaudible.

    -----

Prince Julian of Kerack, when he came of age and was officially named his father's heir, was gifted four bound and controlled witchers by the king of Kaedwen: the last four wolves of Kaer Morhen. Julian would prefer to accept the gift and set them free, but is forbidden from doing that on pain of their deaths. So instead, all he can do is apologize and treat them decently.

This simple, compassionate act sets off a series of events that will irrevocably change his life, his witchers' lives, and the lives of everyone living in the Northern Kingdoms.

(Technically incomplete in that the current ending was not the planned endpoint, but does not have a cliffhanger and is functionally a complete story. Subscribe to be notified when the hiatus ends.)

    Summary

“Fine!” Jaskier exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air to show the grandness of his frustration. It said a lot about how often he did this that Roach didn’t even flinch. “Since you insist on clinging to your ridiculous delusions, I guess I’ll just have to prove you wrong.”

Geralt lifted an eyebrow, both intrigued and slightly concerned. “And how do you plan on doing that?”

“It’s pretty simple, actually,” Jaskier said, looking far too pleased with himself considering that his next words were, “I’ll just stop having sex!”

Or, the one in which Jaskier challenges himself to a bet and finds out that he isn't as human as he was led to believe

    Summary

It’s pitch dark outside when he crawls out of the hole. It closes silently behind him, leaving no trace of its existence. Covered in dirt, he slowly gets up, flexes his hands and rolls his shoulders. With his right hand, he touches his left, wondering at the softness of his skin and carefully lets his fingers explore this strange body. His vision is blurry as always and he finds no small amount of relief in the familiarity, glad that at least some things appear to be as they always were for him.

    -

He meets Geralt after about 20 years of living amongst humans. Everything about the man screams power and Jaskier can’t help but be drawn towards him like a moth to the flame. It’s a delight to be around someone who, in interactions with humans, is even worse than Jaskier was on his first day amongst them.
