Birthdays were something Alhaitham enjoyed as a boy, spending the day with his grandma and enjoying her cooking, curled up in her arms while he read a book. Those days are far behind him now.
Birthdays aren’t so bad now – spent reading for the majority of the day while he indulges as he usually does, ending the day with his friends at Lambad’s over a game of TCG and some wine. It is hardly different from what they usually do when they meet up, which is how Alhaitham likes it, the only difference being the presence of gifts.

Ranpo has always been behind.
Contrary to what most believe about the genius, he finds himself falling behind everyone he knows. The entire agency looks up to him, believing he is gifted and the best detective of all, with special treatment to go with it, despite collectively playing their part in the lie that Ranpo is gifted, Ranpo playing the lead role after being led to believe so 13 years ago.
