    Killing the one person she loved most in life left Mikasa Ackerman utterly destroyed, leaving her truly alone in the world. While the rest of the world rebuilds, she and the rest of the Scouts only begin to confront their mental barriers.

    War may be full of anguish, but peace is deceptively comforting, bringing forth only what was ignored as they fought for their lives. For Mikasa, it is attempting to understand what she thought was Eren's betrayal, and learning to heal once and for all.
