You knew what he did for a profession, you knew there was always a chance he could not show up one day but what you didn't know was why he kept you around. You felt stupid for waiting around like a lost puppy but something about this masked man kept you intrigued, he wasn't just masked in the physical sense he was also masked in the emotional sense, closed off and never speaking more than 15 words at a time. Of course the relationship never really got physically intimate, maybe the occasional hand holding for brief moments but that was where the line was drawn, not by you but by Simon.
