Summary
Tawan is a mess.
On one hand she's the lead bodyguard for the most sought after Idol of the last decade and is at the height of her own career because of it. On the other she's fallen irrevocably in love with her... and it's against every rule she's ever made for herself. And that's a big problem.
As every day passes she realizes just how much trouble she's in because who could resist Ira? Definitely not her.
Or, a handful of scenes before, during, and after everything that's in the pilot of Only You. Of Tawan and Ira falling in love, of Tawan struggling with it every step of the way, and of Ira being the menace that she is pushing every single one of her buttons to help her discover just how much they already love and are perfect for one another.

Summary
Sometimes the most defining moment in a relationship is the way it ends, other times it's the journey, the memories and hope that you cling to that you'll find your way back. The inevitability that you will.
Because nothing meant to be will ever truly end.
In other words, a few flashback and fill in scenes from late in episode one.

Summary
There's a lot that can be written between the lines of a scene through the voice of the characters. Episodes four and seven are no exception, richly nuanced with not enough time to tell the full story, these scene-between-the-scenes dive a bit deeper and offer Earn's second person narrative of those events.
In other words, (4) Earn takes Lada home from the bar, but beyond Lada's obvious influence of alcohol, Earn is under the influence too. Of the potential for a future, carrying the sobering weight of the past while navigating the intimacy of a second, first time in the present. And (7), Earn shows Lada the true measure of care and devotion and being chosen in the face of a horribly painful family realization.

Summary
There's a comfort in the routine that they've built together, a joy in it too, and in the two months of living in Switzerland, Ava is finally learning that home can be a person and living can mean so many different things.
Or: a character study through the eyes of Ava as she grows into loving Beatrice, as she realizes that there's so much more to life than checking off boxes. That sometimes being present for hard conversations and sharing your fears with someone you love can lead to magic.

Summary
The first few days after becoming a Rockford Peach were... a lot. So many life altering things happened all at once and as Carson does with baseball, she analyzes every tiny detail of her life too. She fights with her head and her heart and realizes that sometimes, you've gotta just let the universe have her way with you and see what becomes of it.
Or: Carson analyzes the before, during, and after of her first kiss with Greta.

Summary
Everyone has gone to bed and the house is quiet, except for Carson who anxiously grapples with a decision she has to make, teetering on the precipice of time slipping away and there never being enough of it.
Set shortly after the table top "you could come with me" and... the rest of 1x8, so, spoilers, but a little character study into learning how to say goodbye without meaning it and how Carson toes the line between time and distance and choosing Greta and choosing herself.
Companion piece, loosely, to Chasing the Sun.

Summary
"Some of that stuff you said in your letter..."
Carson writes letters, it's kind of her thing. Greta knows about the one she sent to Charlie, but what she doesn't know is that Carson has been writing them for her too. Eventually the season will end and the uncertainty of where they'll end up leaves her with an idea: Give Greta lasting, tangible proof that it was all real, they were real, so that she knows unequivocally that she's worth being chosen.
Just little fluff piece exploring Carson's quality time love language and how it could translate to the off season... before it happens.

Summary
Carson wakes in Greta's room, in Greta's bed, wrapped up in Greta's arms and as she does she realizes the risks that Greta has been taking lately, the lingering touches, the longing, adoring looks... and everything inside her needs to find out why. Needs to ask the questions, needs to hear the answers because there are only so many weeks left in the season and she needs to know what it all means.
Because maybe falling in love feels a little like this.
Slipped between "I still want this" and y'know, everything else, it's just a little tiny character study that my heart needed to read so I wrote it.

Summary
Nicole Haught is sure of one thing: Waverly Earp is one of her best friends, one of the best things that's happened to her since moving to Purgatory.
But what Nicole isn't sure of are the ways that Waverly's behavior has started to change. The attention, not unwanted. The touching, not unpleasant. The longing, lingering *looks*, flattering, but confusing.
Waverly Earp is sure of one thing: she wants Nicole Haught with every molecule of stardust in her body.
In other words, Waverly pines for Nicole, is assured, steadfast, and willing to wait as long as it takes and Nicole wonders what it all means.

The first snowfall in Purgatory brings forth memories of family - what it was like in the past and what it looks like now.
Featuring a lot of fluff, Earp sister love, Wynaught softness, Waverly flirty and warm and perfect as always, and Nicole irrevocably sandwiched and reflective between the two of them, as it should be.

Summary
"She holds them like the bouquets of wildflowers that she's plucked from the fields and pressed her nose to and smiles when she looks up and you're offering her another, tucking it behind her ear and grinning, because she's a work of art like this... unencumbered and tiny amongst such vastness of color and sky and Earth."
The 'spaces between' episode 4x06 where Nicole is no longer frog barfing, astral projecting, or cursed, the Clantons have been handled, and Wayhaught takes a giant beautiful leap into their future together.

"It's all a ploy of distraction, engaging you without needing your participation, giving you direction in her voice and the flow of her conversation and the subtle, safe connection between her body and yours. She's good at this, saving you from yourself, and with each word and each smile and each press of her skin to yours you can feel your body calming and feel the connection to her strengthen and feel like everything's finally going to be alright."

That no matter what her sisters do or say, what the world does or tells her, you'll always be here... everywhere but anywhere where she is not."

Summary
Meeting Waverly Earp felt like destiny, like the stars aligning and everything ushering you to a life that you were made for. A love that you were born to find.
Only problem was, she had a boyfriend. And while she wasn't wrapped up in him, he was certainly always wrapped around her.
But fate sometimes has a way of working out, and you find yourself drawn back to the Ghost River Triangle with a new career opportunity and a newfound determination that somehow, someway, Waverly Earp would know your name.
Even if that meant some pining, heavily longing glances, forbidden touches, and a hell of a journey forward. And if you were lucky, maybe someday, when she was ready, when you've shown her that you're worthy of her, while you work even harder to become as such, Waverly Earp might love you back.
In other words, the spaces between episodes 2-9, the time Nicole Haught introduces herself to the love of her life in Shorty's bar, beer soaked and beautiful, and Waverly Earp figures her shit out and falls in love right back.
