    And what does Ekko do when he feels haunted by her ghost?

     

    His solace.

     

    The one that keeps her with him even when she’s not actually there.

     

    His fingers twitch in defiance. Just a few inches away, he gets her. Gets every version of her he’s ever known, and every way he’s ever seen her. Every captivating smile, every teasing glance, every rebellious middle finger she’s thrown his way.

     

    He shouldn’t, he really shouldn’t.

     

    But god help, he reaches for it anyway– almost against his will.

     

    He opens his sketchbook– the one he’s kept of her for many years– going through the countless new drawings he’s added since she’s arrived. He doesn’t have to wait until he runs into her in the lanes for him to get a glimpse of her. And so, with every thing she does that he can’t get out of his head, he draws it, capturing the moment in the only way he knows how to.

     

    Even ink isn’t permanent enough in comparison to the big ‘Jinx’ engraved in him.

    Six years have passed since Jinx blew herself and Vander up. She escaped on a pirate ship and never looked back. Life was great! She was free of Jinx, her legacy. She worked on a cargo ship, had her own little crew and everything. Life was paradise.
    ...Until one day she's sent back home.
    Zaun's fueled by politics now. Controversy after controversy. So when a Pirate ship messes up her whole plan, it will take all of Zauns royalty to save home ... even the already dead ones.

    Essentially me coping with the ending of Arcane and giving everyone the ending I think they deserve.

    PREVIOUS SUMMARY "It's been six years since Jinx blew herself and Vander up, and life's been great. After escaping on a ship, she's been free from her past. She's found her own slice of paradise on a cargo ship as it's captain. Somehow fate brought her back to, a recently politically powered, Zaun. When a massive freaking pirate ship comes to mess crap up, it's Zaun's royalty to handle it. Even the dead ones."
