But god help, he reaches for it anyway– almost against his will.
He opens his sketchbook– the one he’s kept of her for many years– going through the countless new drawings he’s added since she’s arrived. He doesn’t have to wait until he runs into her in the lanes for him to get a glimpse of her. And so, with every thing she does that he can’t get out of his head, he draws it, capturing the moment in the only way he knows how to.
Even ink isn’t permanent enough in comparison to the big ‘Jinx’ engraved in him.

"You're going to get rid of it and that's final!" his voice boomed angrily through his office at the last drop.
"No! You can’t force me! It’s my body!" She practically screamed at him, tears streaming down her face while Sevika held her back from jumping him with a tight grip around her upper arm.
"This is not negotiable. Sevika, bring her home and make sure she won’t leave until the appointment tomorrow." he said to his right-hand women without sparing her another glance.
More words were spoken between the two adults in the room but Jinx has stopped listening. The screeching voices of her former family members and the mental turmoil were too great to keep her focus on the conversation. Building bombs and weapons at 14 was fine but getting yourself knocked up by some random dude at the brothel was not tolerable.
Or: Jinx is pregnant at 14, Silco wants her to abort and Ekko may be the only person able to help her in this situation.
