Asta once told me, the strongest protect the weakest, because one day the weakest became the strongest and the strongest became the weakest, the kingdom is in trouble and the civilians need us, we have to go help, not just for them and not just for us, but so that there is no more barbarity against innocent people, above all this is for my idiot brother, for Asta – I said, extending my fistEnglish is not my first language, sorry for any mistakes

Summary
“I need someone like you—someone who can keep up with him, and have his back, and maybe eventually even rein him in, should that be a thing that is humanly possible to do,” said Bobby, smiling warmly over the remaining half of his sandwich.
“Oh, I see,” said Eddie. And he did now. That’s what Bobby’s whole hard sell was about—it wasn’t personal, it was about Eddie being the top of this class. “I know the type. You see guys a lot like that in the military.”
“Oh, no,” said Bobby, “I didn’t mean to—well, what I mean is, I don’t think you have seen a lot of guys like Buck, to be honest. I don’t think there are a lot of people like him.”
-----
Hen & Chim discussing the new probie; Buck's forgotten shield ceremony; Eddie's first shift with the 118.

"Trying to reach my son, Christopher, he's seven", he answers showing everyone a picture.
"If he's at school, he's fine", Buck replies quickly, "they couldn't be in a safer place."
"Who's they?", Chimney asks and Buck lifts his head for the first time.
"Our kids?", he states more than he asks.
"You got kids?", Eddie inquires.
Buck's face pales, as everyone stares at him.
"Actually, yes", he clears his throat, "one, Noa."
"You never told us you had a son!", Chimney pleads.
"Daughter", Buck is quick to correct him, "it's just us, she's 5."
They all stare at him astonished.
"Why'd you never tell us? Do you have any other life changing secrets?", Hen asks clearly perplexed.
If only they knew, he tells himself and shrugs.
or,
Buck is a SEAL and a dad, and manages to keep it all a secret, until Eddie joins the 118. Buck opens old scars, and Eddie helps him.
