Summary
All their lives, Jack and Elsa have clung to their humanity to be included, to stay safe, and to protect the ones they love. It's hard to explain being lonely even when you're no longer alone. Will a chance encounter bring these kindred souls closer to being known.

Elsa definitely died in Autohallen and became an immortal spirit. She was also expecting another being like her and would have to deal with the blow of there being no one once everything settles down. I also think she's super powerful and we only see her scratch the surface of her abilities. Jack is the guardian of fun but his magic belongs to a very brutal element and I like the duality of his character in contrast with the other guardians.
This is a slow burn Jelsa fic because it takes a hot minute for them to meet. It is Canon compliant so they're not meeting until after the events of Guardians and they have a lot of character development to go through first (don't worry, a lot of it is summarized).
