Patrick took the bandage and gently lifted Pete’s head to wrap it around him softly. As he did he watched his face and the fangs that slightly stuck out of his mouth as he breathed, chest rising and falling. Patrick still admired him, his best friend, his everything. He admired him still in this very moment, even if he seemed tainted. He brushed Pete’s hair to the side and held him by his cheek. “Oh Pete…” he scooped him up in his arms once again, “it’s okay Pete… I got you.. I’m gonna make sure everything’s gonna be alright…”

Patrick doesn't even expect a thank you.
But maybe the media was wrong. Pete Wentz seems less like an asshole and more like a person who was forced to grow up too fast. Maybe Pete's knee isn't the only thing PT can heal...
