It had been easier than expected to pull away from the rest of his family after the Battle. It was easy enough to claim to need rest and recuperation and avoid them all as they waded through their own shit, thinking he had his under control.
He had no job. No roommate. No family suffocating him. No war looming over his head. No plan. Fred had nothing really, other than a roof over his head and a deep burning within him to change every fucking thing he could about his life.
Time to let himself be part of something new and entirely his own. Something that had nothing to do with the war, magic, or his life as a Weasley.
