She looked out her window to the eternally falling petals and the sliver of a moon overhead. The brightness of the moonlight made her wince when she opened her eyes. It was only making sleep harder to achieve, looking at the serene outdoors. For a moment she wondered if she should get up and shut the curtains but the wispy thin things hardly blocked out light. She heard the sheets shift next to her and a soft gasp.
Was Farnese still awake at this hour? She turned back to look at her. Her vision adjusted slightly after turning away from the window. Oh.
