“I didn’t - oh I rather did, didn’t I? I’m sorry Ed, you’re not a possession -““Could be.” The words slipped out of Ed’s mouth before he could think about them.
They were both silent for a moment, letting them sink in.
“Is that -“ Stede cleared his throat, tilting Ed’s chin up with two fingers and watching carefully as he spoke. “I suppose you are, aren’t you? Mine.” Ed whined and Stede continued, emboldened by it.

Summary
Making Stede forgive him was easy. But then again everything was easy with Stede.
Gaining the crew's trust, that, that was the tricky part. Until they approached him.

Summary
The first time Stede Bonnet really, truly, kills someone is still somewhat, kind of, an accident.
It’s an accident in the way that he doesn’t really think all that much about it. It’s just one moment, the man is alive and kicking, and the next, he’s bleeding out on the floor and Stede’s sword—and by extension his soul—is decidedly unclean.
It’s not an accident in the way that he really doesn’t feel bad about it at all. In fact, he drives the sword down one more time against the man's throat in a deep, strong arc. Just to be sure.
“What the ever-loving fuck,” Ed says from beside the man, who’s now essentially gargling his own blood as his heart slowly stops.
It’s then that Stede realises what he’s done, the haze finally lifting. “Oh,” he says, frowning. “That’s quite the mess.”
“That’s your concern right now? Really?”
“Well, it’s going to stain the deck.”
or, Stede kills someone, it brings up some Stuff for them both, they fuck
