Ambas alfas se veían con intensidad. Sus aromas empujándose, probándose, retándose mientras ella se veía cada vez más afectada. La combinación era brutal. Sus piernas a nada de ceder la hicieron apoyarse contra la pared.
—Adelanté mi vuelo para venir — gruñó la más alta acercándose y quedando nariz con nariz obligando a la alfa de cabello negro a alzar la mirada, la más pequeña le gruñó de vuelta—, y me encuentro a la omega que quiero con otro alfa.
Sus instintos omega le gritaban, obligándola a liberar sus propias feromonas, la intensidad de todo la venció, se sintió caer mientras la oscuridad se la llevaba a la inconsciencia.

The Halo wants things the way a tree wants water and shoves a taproot through flagstone to get it, which is all well and good for the tree, but less so for the idiot trying to keep her patio intact.
