He squeezes the berry, allowing the skin to fall to the ground as he sits up with a soft grunt, Tomo holding his slim waist close to support him. His hands wrap all the way around, yet they’re so gentle the wounds on his back don’t ache. Delicately, he traces a maple leaf onto his cheek. Not quite as intricate and detailed as the stamp he’s long since lost, but his own signature all the same. “And now you’re mine, Ryosuke.”
The pseudonym catches Tomo slightly off guard, and he realizes then how close they are. Their lips nearly brush before Tomo takes his delicate wrist into his hand, guiding his finger to his mouth and slowly licking away the remaining juice and occasionally pressing a soft kiss there with a gentle ‘mm’ of satisfaction.
“My, my, Akahito …” Their breaths intermix, sharing the same air between each other. “Maybe I should give you a few more ideas for my poem, if I'm your work of art.”
After receiving a fatal sentence for a crime he never committed, the great poet Akahito finds comfort and safety in the form of a blonde haired ronin who rebels against the shogunate.

At this, Tomo smiles at him, warm and slightly crooked, familiar in a way that dissolves the last of the hesitation in Kazuha’s heart. “Wouldn’t dream of it, Princess.”
