“The japanese hot pot. Did you still want to watch a movie after dinner?” Hua Yong huffed in amusement as Shen Wenlang nodded before turning his head to tuck his face into his scent gland. A shiver of want slid down his spine.
“Wolfie?”
“I wanna watch my horror pick.” Shen Wenlang whispered against his skin. Hua Yong stilled for a moment feeling the warmth of the alpha’s breath as well as the flutter of his eyelashes.
“Fine but I’ll hold the popcorn this time.” Hua Yong laughed as Shen Wenlang nipped his neck in childish retaliation.

“You shouldn't crank the stove all the way up when cooking with grease.”
“I see.” The man's brow pinches slightly. “I thought higher heat would make it crispier.”
Mingjue looks very pointedly at the burnt corpses of his failed youtiao attempt. “Technically, it did.”
Fire captain Nie Mingjue responds to a call where he encounters the most beautiful man he's ever seen.

Nie Mingjue takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. “I told you I have no clue about any of this.”
“None whatsoever?” Head cocked partially to one side, Lan Xichen gives him a disbelieving look. “When you said you had no experience I thought you at least knew the basics.”
His face feels hot, but Nie Mingjue refuses to be embarrassed by this. He is also growing increasingly annoyed at the fact that Lan Xichen possesses such a wealth of carnal knowledge. “If you aren’t going to explain, then just get on with it.”
Lan Xichen looks slightly hurt. “Why are you angry?”
“I’m not angry,” Nie Mingjue tersely replies. “If I don’t meet your expectations, then you can go back to whomever you fucked before.”
“Before?” Lan Xichen’s owlish expression quickly morphs into laughter that he attempts to hide behind his hand. “There’s no before.”
Now, Nie Mingjue is confused. “There isn’t?”
“Nope! Apparently, the education around more, ah…amorous matters is even worse in Qinghe than in Gusu. Although, I may be an exception, given that I have access to areas of the Room of Forbidden Books that shufu tried to hide from me.”

Lan Xichen laughed. ”I see…” The smile he wore grew into grin. ”Young master Wei, I think you misunderstood what your brother was talking about.”
”Exactly!” Jiang Cheng concurred.
”Young master Jiang’s wish had nothing to do with that young lady, it was clearly to be the person wearing a Lan headband.” Lan Xichen explained.
”Yes. Wait? Wh-What!!?” Jiang Cheng exclaimed, no longer agreeing with Zewu-jun’s assessment.
