Summary
At the mere age of sixteen, Maximilian Croix has been pronounced as dead.
Despite the Duke of Croix's extravagant funeral, the expensive flowers, and the sacred grave that had been hidden from the public out of supposed grief, the only one who truly mourned for her was Riftan Calypse.
Five years later, when the dragon campaign for Sektor was at its most brutal peak, Riftan and his ranks endure devastating losses and are in dire need of support. How could a mere army of humans defeat the king of all beasts? It was a question Riftan was yet to answer. Everyday, their losses outweighed their victories, and everyday, Riftan looked for reasons to continue on fighting.
Just when their spirits have dimmed, a glimmer of hope was seen in the horizon.
Nornui, the center towers of magic, sent reinforcements in order to help the Allied Forces. The army was relieved at the sight of more food, supplies, and a barrage of the best sorcerers in the tower who could help with the extermination of Sektor and tip the battle in their favor.
As the troops celebrated, Riftan could only stare at the one wizard with the shockingly familiar red hair.

And that you credit me since i did write 6 chapters of it :P **Sam is tired of longing and sick of heartache but Charles isn’t ready to love again. She doesn’t want to call it running away, lest she sound immature, but when her dad offers for her to come with him to London, she takes it. Meanwhile, Charles learns what it means when they say absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Charles and Sam agreed to allow their relationship to grow organically, and they have, but Sam never forgot Charles' warning from their car ride before that first dinner.
