Yet another Husk Overlord AU. - In a world where Husk cuts off Alastor's rise to power, the Gambling Overlord is content to rule over his little domain, the "Deuces Wild" casino. His desire to stay neutral in Overlord Politics is compromised by an unexpected attraction to a certain hellish Porn Star on Valentino's chain. Circumstances eventually force Husk to pull his head entirely out of his ass and *do* something with the privileges afforded by his position. Summary
A non-canon compliant take on Alastor's backstory. --- A young woman named Rebecca meets Alastor on his walk to work one day. Over a few years they become friends, he learns about her messed up home life, and watches her spiral into a little bit of madness over it. Unfortunately Alastor isn't able to fix the situation. He does not like being powerless and it affects his psyche too.
