The new farmer is an absolute fucking disaster. Shane is here to save the day because apparently doing more than just throwing some feed into the hopper is too fucking hard. Caring for chickens isn't rocket science--if he, a drunk, can do it, what the fuck is this farmer's problem? Shane doesn't know what's more annoying--how useless the farmer is at farming or how good he apparently is at everything else.

Summary
After running away from home in Zuzu city, the reader makes it to Stardew Valley to live in her late grandfathers house. Upon arriving, she is informed that until the broken house can be fixed, she'll have to live with her neighbors. This is when she meets Shane, the town drunk and alcoholic. Becoming close over time, but not knowing of Shane's predatory behaviors, the reader allows herself to be groomed. Even after recognizing the situation at hand and receiving many warnings from those around her, the reader seeks out Shane's love and affection, letting him remedy her fatherly issues. The reader battles through her family drama and farming struggles while at the same time, running to Shane for comfort and stability, thus, falling deeper into his grasp.
