When Zagreus realizes he can remain on the surface of Greece for a time, he finds a lonely mortal sitting on the cliffside. Each new visit reveals a little more of who they are, about the curse placed upon them by an Olympian god, and why they came to the edge of the Underworld. Zagreus is determined to discover why their presence allows him to persist on the surface, and when a new prophecy appears in the Fated List, he knows that he has to find a way to save them from a fatal curse.
