Summary
Ten years after the defeat of the Archdemon, Zevran has carried his fight against the Crows back home to Antiva. He receives unexpected visitors during a lull in the carnage, including his Warden, Nora Cousland. He lost her to another long ago, partly because he couldn't acknowledge how he truly felt. It's tempting for him to see this as a second chance, but he suspects that she may need her old friend more than her old lover.
Zevran isn't quite sure if her presence is a blessing or a curse, but he's grateful for it either way.

Summary
"If it were up to me, I would not have let you go after driving you home from the motel. I would have taken you here and carried you upstairs like the animal I am and chained you to my bed to show you just how much of a filthy man I actually am, until your voice his hoarse from screaming my name. I would have made you cum in a hundred different ways, because this is not even about me in the slightest anymore.
That is what you do to me”, Dante finished gently.

Of all the incredible, crazy, stupid things that had happened to Dante in his life, he had never believed in demonic mating rituals, soul bonds or that any of this should actually concern him.
And he sure as hell hadn’t known that such a bond between mates could be forged by accident. Or was it fate all along?

Summary
There was something special about this early in the morning, when most of the world was still asleep – it made him feel like he was the only one alive, which was somehow a very relaxing thought. No one expected anything from him, no one required being that Vergil from him.
Or to put it simply: sleepy morning Vergil is soft, so his love-making is also soft.

He has not worried over this fact ever before, not even at their first meeting, has never concerned himself with being what he is- only on what he lacks. On power outside his grasp, on his abilities, on his survival and triumph over obstacles. Concern over something like this, on how being a demon might not be something he wants, is new. It is something he has never worried over, never concerned himself with, because he never had reason to before. Her hands are laced with his.
He worries they will break if he is not careful.----

Summary
You loved Vergil, you knew that, he knew that. So, why did this have to be so hard? You thought that, as soon as all was out in the open and you would be something close to an actual couple, things would get easier.
Apparently, you had been very, very wrong. And, apparently, having a vengeful freak chase after your lover didn't help the situation either.

“Do you remember”, you started, your nose brushing his, “after I told you that I love you, you said you would have given me anything, back when you were still a demon king?”
“I said I could have given you anything”, he replied, a coldness in his voice that did not match the fire in his eyes. “An important distinction.”
You closed your eyes, your forehead touching his. “You also said that you were unable to be without me”, you whispered. “That you wanted to be with me, even if you could not love me.”
“Things change”, Vergil said simply and pushed you back into your seat.
