On a whim, Sokka types out: ‘hey. would u be my fake boyf plus-one for a wedding in two weeks?’ He hits send and doesn’t really regret it because (1) it’s 3am on a Tuesday morning so he doesn’t really have the bandwidth to care (2) he’s actually thought this thing out and (3) he’s armed with arguments.
‘what?’
He’s too tired to text out a full explanation, so he dials Zuko’s number. The call picks up on the second ring, and Sokka says, “You would be the ultimate flex of a significant other on an ex. You’re, like, the most thoughtful, big-hearted person I know, and you’re beautiful and fashionable and accomplished. You’re going to be world-renowned famous in, like, two years.”
Silence stretches for so long Sokka wonders if he misheard the call picking up; then Zuko’s rasp, lifted from a baritone to a tenor by the electronic filter of a phone call, says, “Okay.”

A sleep-deprived Sokka caves to the impulse to ask Zuko, his close friend of seven years, to be his pretend boyfriend for his ex’s wedding; Zuko is too ride-or-die to consider this a bad idea.

Summary
Lance gave up the chance to make a difference by giving up the Red Lion. He gave up his chance to be a hero. What he wants now is just to go home. He'll protect Earth and his family from the Galra as best he can when he gets there. That's his top priority now.
And sure, he stole the opportunity to make this decision from Keith, and maybe that's not fair.
But whatever. If Keith was going to make the wrong choice, Lance wasn't going to give him one.

Summary
He can’t even justify it as desperation. If he were well and truly desperate to move out of Shiro’s place, it would have happened by now. He’s had other options, he’s had people offer, it’s not like he’s backed into a corner and living out of his car. But if it’s not desperation, what exactly is it? A sick, morbid type of curiosity to know Lance better, to expose himself to the same hurt he’s already felt by getting attached to the other boy? Is it still attraction pulling him in like a moth to a flame, despite all that’s happened and how he knows they’re a terrible match? He isn’t sure.
He does, however, catch himself pulling on his best outfit before stepping out the door to go and meet Lance in the park. So maybe that’s an answer in itself.

aka the one where Keith makes an impulsive decision to move in with the man that stole his heart and broke it all in the same night. Will this end terribly for him, or will it be the start of something great?

Summary
Lance makes the declaration from Keith’s bed, abruptly, without any kind of preamble:
“I want you to make me cry during sex.”
Keith is sitting at his desk. He was supposed to be drafting the mission parameters for the next Blade initiative, but somehow in his research surrounding the network of trade hubs in the Oelian belt, he got sidetracked---
“Or maybe,” Lance continues, more contemplative now, “I’ll make you cry. Either way.”
Uh. Keith lifts his head from his fist from where he’s been slumped as he scrolls through the pages. What was it--what did Lance just say?
Minimizing the holoscreen, Keith leans out of the chair to look back at Lance. Crying. During sex. That’s what Lance just said.
“Like...because it’s bad?”

Everyone knows that Keith will rise to a challenge. Especially from Lance.
