Then his hero-turned-crush follows him, and he tried to keep his like from spiraling once more.

Summary
When Simon “Ghost” Riley left the military after years of service, he never expected civilian life would include so much socialising, especially with coworkers. He manages to avoid it all by telling a small lie: he has a boyfriend. A perfect, convenient, totally-not-real boyfriend who keeps him “busy” on evenings and weekends.
Problem solved, one would think. Until the mandatory company Christmas gala demands attendance of said boyfriend.
Ghost is reluctantly introduced to one John “Soap” MacTavish, a charming mechanic who is willing to help out. It should’ve been simple: pretend to be in a relationship, fake a few smiles, have a few drinks, and done.
Except one night of pretending to be a couple turns into texts, favours, and a growing friendship neither of them expected. Now, Ghost finds himself tangled in something dangerously close to happiness and has to face the truth: his fake boyfriend might just be the most real thing he’s ever had.

Summary
It must be some sort of bad joke that the first time Soap has the chance of seeing any inch of Ghost’s skin is in Russia while fighting hypothermia.
It's an even worse joke that he sees on Ghost's skin the tattoo of an old lover.
And it's probably the worst comedy show in history that while Soap tries coming to terms with that, they end up in a small room with just one bed.- Language:
