Summary
Battler finds himself in a similiar game, fighting a similar fight, but facing a different opponent. Beatrice the Golden Witch has been replaced with a new ruler of the game board, set on breaking Battler's spirit once and for all. Natsuhi is fighting to save her family from financial ruin with Kinzo's health declining every day. Eva vows to find an impossible solution for an impossible situation in order to realize her dream. Kanon and Shannon share a bond that can't be explained. And Jessica longs to escape her suffocating life as a successor's daughter, even if just for a moment.

Summary
Across all of the gameboards which Rika had the *pleasure* of playing: there are three rules: being X, Y and Z. However, It wouldn't be ridiculous to claim an unofficial rule exists: being that Satoshi Houjou and Keiichi Maebara can never co-exist within the same space. So when Keiichi screws up and transfers a year earlier instead it comes as a great surprise.
Of course, it would be naive to think that this would change much.
