Minho gets up then, as quietly as he can and counting on her being distracted. He approaches the kitchen in the dark, already seeing the figure bending over the counter.
He meant to talk right away, but the vision is so surprising that it renders him mute.
It is not a woman that he sees. The person—the omega—in front of him has broad shoulders and thick arm muscles, and the light of the fire shines on his face and neck, revealing a protrusion that goes up and down every time he swallows, complementing the sharp jawline and the beautiful side profile. As he left, everyone in the surroundings aware of the exchange, previously holding their breath, either started to disperse or, in Changbin's case, started to whistle. "Good job Jisung. You just earned an arch enemy who knows how to use his knives."(or: Minho is the new chef, Jisung is proned for disaster and ends up creating a one-sided rivalry with the boy, before realising his feelings towards the other were never as simple as he first intended.)

He forces himself to look in Jisung’s eyes, scowling when he catches the knowing smirk on his face. “I was being judged. He was testing me. That’s not the point—” he swallows the spit pooling in his mouth. “All you have to do is pretend to be my boyfriend for four months.”
“Sorry?” Jisung laughs incredulously, eyebrows shooting up.
“You heard me,” Minho grumbles. This is so fucking stupid. He realizes how stupid this is. “He bet me I couldn’t hold onto a boyfriend for four months. I told him I’m kind of seeing someone already, no big.”
