Summary
There were many things Multi could have pointed out. That Quackity looked older, rougher, more beaten down by life and tired. That through his sour expression and gritted teeth, Multi caught sight of a single gold tooth, leaving him to wonder how on earth Quackity could afford such a luxury when he used to steal most of his belongings. How Quackity's clothes, instead of the loose fit and navy blues Multi had grown so accustomed to, were now dominated by dark red colors.
But Multi’s attention was focused most on Quackity’s face. Specifically on the massive scar taking up half of it, exposing some of his teeth and leaving him blind in one eye.
A single question slipped from Multi’s lips.
“Who did that to you?”
Or, instead of staying dead, Multi gets a ‘second chance’, wakes up in an unknown place, and encounters familiar faces who aren't entirely the same as he remembers.
(a.k.a. Q!Multi respawns in Las Nevadas and gets to have a situationship with Ln!Quackity)

Summary
Quackity spends months learning Multi in pieces.
The forensic doctor. The researcher. The tired man buying expensive coffee after work. The owner of a tiny white dog. The stranger on a balcony with a cigarette between his fingers.
Then, the other parts start to show.
The disappearing men. The car seen where it shouldn't be. Blood. Locked doors. Things Quackity could still walk away from, if knowing less had ever been enough for him.
He wants to understand Multi.
Eventually, Multi begins wanting to understand him back.

“so you just want my number?”
“well, no, you need the notes.”
“hm, fair.”
he takes quackity’s pen and grabs his arm, his grip bordering rough, writing the number on it. quackity froze in his place for a moment before pulling away after he had finished writing.
“you uh.. could’ve just wrote it on paper. we have that.”
