If Albedo wanted to know something, there was almost nothing that stood in his way. It was only natural that when he decided he wanted to understand the complete map of the human psyche in grave detail: he had become completely, and utterly consumed.
His distaste for social interaction and lack of knowledge on conversation starters had quickly become the backbone of his research, as he carried it forward in order to cleanse it quickly of its existence. He was relentless, scribbling away in his journal at the dead of night like a truly mad scientist.He desperately wanted to know why people did what they did, and most importantly:
Why did people care?That following evening, when Sucrose, his prior assistant walked through the door with you following in tow, both of his eyes perked up to meet yours.

“Wait. Okay. Let me get this straight.” You set your coffee down; is he actually saying what you think he’s saying? “You want me to sleep with a complete stranger for the next eleven weeks?”
Or: you need extra funds in college, Albedo needs an extra participant for his sleep study—that he has to participate in last-minute—and sharing a bed with a total stranger is okay, because it's for science and Albedo probably isn't going to murder you. Probably.
