Summary
Aaron Hotchner lost his wife almost a year ago and in that time, Emily Prentiss has taken up a place in his heart. While he attempts to push his feelings away, she's doing the same. Neither aware of the other's true feelings, they keep a professional relationship until one night on a case, they let go. Scared of being hurt and knowing it can't go anywhere, one of them walks away. Shortly after though, their "stupid mistake" comes back to change their lives forever.
