“Yeah,” Bakugo sighs and leans back on his hands, staring at the bracer. “I know. I’ll go,” his mouth twists a little. “I’ll go tomorrow. This is just- this is my design you know?” he’s not explaining himself very well, and refuses to look at Kirishima.
“It can be hard to give up your first hero design, and you did a great job,” Kirishima said. “You definitely had the best one out of all of us when we first got our costumes."
Bakugo hunched his shoulders. “I didn’t design it,” he grumbled.

“Your eyes are silver,” Shouto said, simply. “And I’m guessing mine are gold.”
The omega bares his teeth. He only comes up to just past Shouto’s shoulders, as most people do, but the alpha gets the feeling that his aura normally makes him seem taller than he actually is. “And what of it, fucker?” His voice is gruff and cruel.
“Normally, that’d mean we’re a fated pair.” he responds, bluntly, wondering if his omega knows a kinder tone.
He doesn’t. “Oh yeah, asshole?”
“Uh… yeah.”
Todoroki Shouto doesn’t know when exactly it happens or why, because he’s high off the adrenaline of the moment at that point, but then he and his omega are on the floor engaged in a fist fight that would go down in UA history.
Yeah. Fated Pairs are normally unconventional.

Summary
Katsuki hides it all. The lack of money, the shitty mom that has beaten him till he finally has guts to move out, the never ending void that keeps growing bigger and deeper the more he shares himself in the beds which after he doesn't remember who the girl had been. He acts like he hides well the need to get shit faced to forget for even a passing second that he is less than he let's others see, that he isn't the envied star others took him.
Shouto feels like he is pretending to know how to swim, but is in reality drowning while others swim past him. He keeps the polite smile, the mask, the emptiness as a worthless float on the ocean he feels like drifting towards the rocky shoal while others gather together to find the shore.
They are lost, other deeper than he let's out, but then there is a sudden confluence in a dorm bathroom that starts to shine like a beacon in the pitch black darkness.

Or simply. Two idiots trying to figure out the other, the life and the love, none of which included their plan or hopes.

"So yeah. Katsuki didn't really give a shit about being paired with Todoroki. The guy was strong, not annoying, and actually took things seriously—which was more than he could say for half the extras in this class. If anything, there were way worse people he could've been stuck with. He didn't care. But it was weird. Not because of Todoroki himself—but because of Kirishima. Because of all the stupid shit he'd been saying lately. Katsuki hadn't even thought about Todoroki that much before. But then Kirishima had to go and start running his mouth, dropping little comments, watching him, waiting for a reaction. And now? Now it was in his head."

In the last chapter, they had this training exercise, where Bakugo was the hero todoroki was the prey and deku was the villain, and Bakugo feels so useless because he failed him
