Summary
Robbed of freedom, of choice, familiarity and understanding, Lumine loses the control of her life. What she once had: a brother, a home, friends... Once the decision was made to honour a contract with a near mythical beast, never again can it be the same. There was nothing to be done.
That day, as per the role forced upon her, Lumine was left to die in the fangs of a beast.
But then, what is she to do, when it doesn't happen? When the beast does not act as expected? When she is thrust into a new world that myths and stories could only describe from afar? What is she to do, when speech is not an option?
What else? Start life anew and wrestle back into her hands all that was robbed from her. Look deep into the pair of amber eyes she gained in return, in search of connection. For the dragon she finds herself entangled with has his own share of problems to contend with.
