Sanji throws a pinch of salt into the water and sets the lid askew, letting the steam rise in curling plumes from the narrow gap behind. Once closing the lid on the salt container, he pauses, frowning as he notices the low level of its counterpart.
“I didn’t think we were that low on pepper…” He mumbles.
The door to the galley opens with a metallic click of the latch.
Sanji continues without pause, setting aside his spices and gathering a healthy bit of greens from the cooler to set out for preparation.
Zoro’s bootstep carries him around the counter, and Sanji tucks a smile between his lips as warm palms slide around the narrow of his waist.
“Moss,” Sanji murmurs, “I’ve work to do.”
The grip around his waist tightens and lips brush against the column of his neck.
“You’re always working.”

Sanji set down the plate he was scrubbing to turn toward Zoro. “What are you doing awake?”
“It’s hard to sleep when Usopp is snoring,” Zoro informed.
“Roronoa Zoro is having a hard time sleeping. What a wonder,” Sanji teased.

Summary
They hated each other. It wasn't an assumption, it was a fact. Like cats hated dogs. Like the government hated pirates.
So it made absolutely no sense why Sanji started to feel these very confusing and highly inappropriate things around Zoro all of a sudden.
Surely it was just because of that sickness he was brewing, right?... -
