Summary
After four years, everyone was finally returning. Many things have changed for Mikasa while living on the island. She lives part-time with Levi, gardens, attends church, talks to the townsfolk, and looks after the orphans. As much as life changes, though, Jean's letters to Mikasa remain constant.
While living abroad for four years, Jean sends Mikasa letters. He has been in love with her for a while now, and Mikasa realizes she feels the same way. However, coming to terms with that she is allowed to accept love from someone so kind is hard after a man like Eren killed both eighty percent of the population and her soul.
