Matt doesn't reply at first, he just looks at you. Then, he nods slowly. "Sometimes I don't know what to do with those thoughts, y'know, when I have them."
You exhale, but you don't speak. Matt's never this vulnerable with you, and you don't want him to feel like he has to stop.
"So I just...sit with them. And I think about it over and over until I just...snap," he whispers.
The trampoline moves under you as you turn to your side. "What happens when you snap?"
