But not the pale kind or the dull kind. It was bright green. The sort of eyes that immediately grabbed your attention and refused to let go.

    Then I noticed the expression attached to those eyes.

    Oh. That was definitely not gratitude I am seeing over there, buddy.

    Or, Grace wakes from a coma with no memory of the events of Hail Mary, but this grumpy engineer who can turn him into a complete mess somehow feels hauntingly familiar.
