They battled on Istvaan V, the battlefield of massacre.Fulgrim fought Ferrus with everything he had got, with his life, demanding the same from the other.
Lucky or not, one mysterious blaze broke them apart.
After that, both of them realized how precious the other was.Fulgrim regretted and Ferrus felt it too, only he hid it well.
The Gorgon punched the Phoenix, with a simple punch that sent him into an instant oblivion.
After awakening, Fulgrim realizes that only he can save Ferrus and himself, at least for now.From here, his new adventure through the journey for their inner growth and rebounding began.
