Summary
There's some weird guy in a tent on the outskirts of Westrock forest. What starts as a friendly encounter in a bar turns into decade-long project for Darryl Wilson, because he's a fixer, God damn it, and he's going to fix Henry Oak if it's the last thing he does.
Sometimes, though, as he's soon to realise, life doesn't quite work out that way, and sometimes you discover things that you really, really didn't want to discover about yourself.

“It’s a stupid sandwich.”
“It’s lovely, is what it is.” He can hear the smile thick in Aziraphale’s voice. He speaks like that so often that it feels somehow stranger to hear him without a smile, unless it was his characteristic fumbling anxiety that often came about when Crowley left mugs on his desk without using a coaster, or disturbs him with some comment while he’s attempting some mental math to figure out a tip: there isn't really an in-between with Aziraphale. He is very comfortable like that.
Familiar, is what he is.

Jonathan clears his throat, sinks a little lower in his armchair, and lifts yesterday’s edition of The Egyptian Gazette higher, obscuring the blush he knows he can’t control.
“I have no idea how I’m supposed to answer that, dear sister,” he replies, “seeing as I have absolutely no idea what the current bestselling novels are.”
When Jonathan writes an adventure—definitely not a romance, thank you—novel based on the whole Imhotep debacle, he doesn't expect it to become the bestselling pulp sensation of the decade. With hindsight, perhaps he should have made some of the real life parallels less obvious, especially when it comes to the dashing romantic lead, Abir Rey.
Thankfully, there are no bookshops in the desert, so the chances of Ardeth reading it are blessedly slim.

Summary
Gimli Durinson is a professor of Architectural Engineering at Columbia University going on 5 years. Legolas Lasgalen is a model, reluctant activist, and influencer working alongside his father. They have just about nothing in common, save for their friend Aragorn Elessar. When he comes to them asking for help with a bold push to save the environment of New York City, and make a push against DuMonte Enterprises, who seek to purchase and build over a quarter of Central Park, and worse, they must learn to work together and see past the others issues, which shouldn’t be too hard, considering the height difference.
A very contrived take on the Professor!Gimli and Influencer!Legolas AU, in which they’re still somewhat reluctantly trying to save the planet because Aragorn asked them to.
One of those fics, featuring the entire 6 movie cast in one way or another.
