Husk’s brain was running at a million miles per hour.
The fur that covered every inch of his body felt heavy and suffocating, and his sweat merely added to the weight.
He couldn’t think straight.
He couldn’t breathe.
And suddenly, without any warning, he felt a pair of hands grasping at his arms.
Thankfully, he wasn’t really thinking like a fighter. Right now, Husk was thinking like a coward. He was a deserter desperately trying to pry himself from the grips of the opposition. He wasn’t going to be a prisoner of war.
He needed to run.
