In the glorious, halcyon days of After Shroud - once the city is no longer a smoking wreck and the rubble has been more or less cleaned up - the corporate overlords of SDN do as they all inevitably must and hatch some bullshit plot to “shake things up.”
Namely, granting the Torrance branch’s newest dispatcher a fancier title that does nothing to reduce his workload, support his team or do anything of use at all.
After the “mandatory team discussion” turned bonding bitch-fest at Robert’s apartment, Courtney sticks around.
They talk about it. And other things.
And then they don’t do much talking at all.
