Frank is not exactly a regular priest.
Because of his personality, his tattoos, his family and his history of booze and drugs, yes. More importantly, his job is not like the job you might imagine for a priest. Because yes, Frank does work for the church and he’s ordained, but he doesn’t lead mass, he doesn’t take people’s confessions.Instead, Frank works for the church’ secret order, the one tasked with keeping humanity safe from the unnatural. Over the years he’s worked for them, he’s run into vampires, lycans, ghosts, demons and you name it.
He hasn’t quite run into anything similar to his current assignment though. The assignment to infiltrate an anarchists' group lead by Michael 'Mikey' Way and Raymond 'Ray' Toro. The assignment to confirm that Mikey Way is the Antichrist and to find a way to keep humanity safe from his influence.

Summary
As Frank steps into church that day, he can immediately tell that there's something off. That something has happened, something is missing. That does not make the news any easier when the priest steps forward and tells the congregation that overnight the gods have disappeared.
Initially it's the guilt that doesn't make it easy. But then comes the effect of the gods no longer being there to watch over the world. The accidents, the general feeling of being unsafe, the personal battles Frank, and probably many others, face now that they are in this world without their patron.When Ray suggests that they should go looking for Olympus, to return the gods, Frank is skeptical. But he also doesn't want to work now that his patron has left him and so, when the Ways offer up their van and their company to Ray, Frank does join.

Gerard has a pit problem. Part of the problem is that Gerard himself does not seem to care. When the stink becomes too bad, it's up to Frank to bribe him into having a shower.
Not that Frank can't enjoy the fun they have in the shower.

Summary
Frank and Ray, along with their receptionist/assistant Mikey, run a detective agency specializing in non-humans.
One day a woman comes in asking them to investigate her brother's murder, suspecting that he had been possessed at the time of his death. Frank goes to check it out and meets a man who claims that the victim had indeed been possessed. By an angel specifically. Something that the man predicts will be a big problem because angels are known to want vengeance. And they're powerful.
It's up to the agency to work the case and discover what has happened.
