“Please forgive me, General, if you think I’m overstepping, but—” Hongjoong hesitates, jaw tightening. Seonghwa hums, a soft sound of curiosity. The soldier swallows, before finally asking—
“Have we met before? You feel… familiar, for some reason.”
Seonghwa tilts his head up to the sky.
Above them, the moon hangs low.
“Tell me, soldier,” Seonghwa breathes, his eyes dropping to cast a thoughtful, sidelong glance at Hongjoong, “do you believe in past lives?”
In every lifetime, Seonghwa lives with the echoes of what came before. He remembers it all—life, loss, love.

Summary
Yunho goes into heat at the Coachella afterparty. This would be issue enough in of itself, but here’s the catch: up until 24 hours ago, Yunho was unquestionably an alpha.
That begs the question: so what happened during those 24 hours? Oh, nothing much. Just the biggest performance of his life, a reaffirmed love for the stage, and the craziest night of world-shattering, back-breaking sex with his best friend who he definitely has not been in love with since he was 15. You know, just the usual.
The conclusion that follows is simple enough: sometimes, the love you've been so desperately hoping for has been right in front of you this whole time. If you never let yourself fall, how will you ever be caught?
