Summary
Ashley feels like every muscle in her has started relaxing, and she's more than willing to let it happen– lord knows she could use any kind of relief after what’s gone down. Her hand, which had stayed tightly gripping Leon’s, loosens its hold. She'll never have to see the scratches on his arms from where he'd been subconsciously trying to dig out the parasite again. She’ll finally be able to go home and rest after who knows how long. Every night has been sleepless, and she isn't even sure how many nights it's been.

Summary
As much as Leon tried to be quiet, he wasn’t completely able to hold back the pained grunts as he stripped off the protective vest. There was no way for him to get to the wound otherwise. It hurt even more than walking, and by the time he threw the vest aside he was bathed in cold sweat. Breathless, he collapsed against the wall, taking several deep breaths before he was able to continue.
There was a suture kit in the first aid supplies, and Leon really really hoped he still remembered how to use it. It had been a while since he’d had to do emergency stitches.

After years pass after the incident in Eastern Europe, Chris and Leon are doing their best with their little family after they adopt Rose. Chris is always the one who interfaces with Rose’s school because he knows Leon doesn't want to interact with people and he's good at it. However, an urgent mission pulls him away during an important time during the school year. This leaves his fiancé to handle it, but problems arise when the school and the parents involved are expecting a future Mrs. Redfield, not Mr.

“You’re that Leon,” Claire frowns. She’d seen the streamers, the sign welcoming in the West Office, and his desk that was glamoured up. Everything must have gone to hell when he arrived and got somewhat accumulated. She tucked the ID away in her pocket, “I’m sorry this happened to you,” she murmurs, quieter, solemner. Clearing her throat, she sat up straighter, “Maybe you’re the key to this, for a cure or whatever. That’s got to be the reason you aren’t… entirely bloodthirsty.”
Zombie Boy—Leon—turned briefly to groan at her before returning to finish off the carcass. It’s the best response she’ll get for now, and it makes her grin slightly. She ruffles his damp hair as she stands, and he doesn’t react.
Leon goes to his new job on time.
A couple of days later, Claire makes a friend.
