“Wait wait wait… and why the hell is he on his knees?”
Alastor’s smile turned sharp.
“Because he broke a deal. And, as part of the agreement…” He pressed the ‘Good Boy’ button.
Vox’s screen flickered and, to everyone’s horror, emitted a small confirmation ping. He covered his screen with his hands as if he didn’t want to obey, but then adopted a more obedient posture, bowing almost as if he were reverencing the other two, though trembling with pure humiliation.

It was all Alastor could do to keep from bursting into laughter, despite the situation he was in. Not one that looked particularly promising for him, of course, but he'd predicted everything correctly so far. Vox's flush at Valentino's catty little remark, though – that had only confirmed everything he'd already suspected, cemented it in his skull.
If only Valentino knew.

Summary
During a training lesson gone wrong, Alastor finds himself in a Pentagram City he doesn't recognize.
The more he uncovers about this strange new city, the more he finds himself in a hell worse than actual Hell. He scrambles for a way to get back home, but his resources are limited and time is running out as the reining Overlord of the pentagram senses his presence and begins a relentless pursuit to find him.

Vox decides to have some fun by creating an act where Alastor would dress up as a 1930s singer and perform for everyone at the Vees' casino.
