Summary
Thanos watches for a moment, amused, and then opens the cage.
He sees Nam-gyu perk up, eyes shining as he watches the door slide ajar — and then shut. As soon as he gets the dirty dish out, Thanos locks the door back up, and Nam-gyu yowls, upset. Thanos ignores it as he walks back to the kitchen and throws the plate in the sink; it’ll be tomorrow’s problem.
With that, he comes back into the living room, looking down at the cage once again expectantly. His eyebrow quirks up as a signal for Nam-gyu to talk.
The black cat stares up at him with wide, unblinking eyes, and then, soft as snow, gives a tiny, “meow…”
“Last chance, little one,” Thanos warns. “You wanna say you’re sorry for this,” he pulls up his sleeve and shows the angry red scratch marks, “or do you wanna spend the night in there?”
Nam-gyu’s little nose scrunches up, making it clear that the answer’s neither.
