She wasn’t very well holding him hostage here. Granger’s place was… warm. Very Granger-esque. He set the far too formal tea set down on her coffee table and leaned back against her couch. It was delightfully soft, clearly worn from years of overuse. She had very comfortable pillows and a throw tossed along the back of the couch that tickled his neck. She flicked on the flames to a fireplace which cast a soft-glow around the room, illuminating her hoards of books and papers in flashes of light. Somewhere distant, a cat purred.
For all intents and purposes, he should be quite cosy here.
But, of course, the witch had just asked him if she could eat his arsehole.
So he was really feeling like cosy wasn’t the best word.

Notes:This story stemmed from me saying to my girlfriend (who is a fierce, fierce Draco stan, and has made me one as well), "What if Harry did die in the graveyard?" Naturally, she asked who would take up the mantle. My prompt answer...Draco Malfoy.
This fic follows the events of books five through seven, but with Draco taking up Harry's cause.
