Silver couldn’t stop watching him.
That black and red hedgehog was a strange individual. He was quiet and solemn— his eyes were gentle, and yet there was a storm brewing behind them… a storm that Silver wanted to dive into and discover the cause.
But how was he supposed to get close? Their lives were on completely different paths.. There was just no way Silver could reach him. They were just too different… or were they? Perhaps Silver’s desire wasn’t so far out of reach.

Ayato sometimes wondered if Thoma ever slept. But, when confronted, Thoma would laugh it off and say something along the lines of: “If I didn’t get enough rest, how could I serve you properly, my lord?”
So who was Ayato to nag on him? If he needed rest, surely he would sleep in. Or retire early. Surely, he wouldn’t push himself to exhaustion. He wouldn’t force himself to do tons of tasks when he was getting burnt out. Of course not… at least, that’s what Ayato had hoped.
