Nahida was the first one to notice it, she wasn’t the god of wisdom for nothing. She sensed a change in the atmosphere that felt foreign, something a mortal couldn’t comprehend. Her suspicion wasn’t confirmed until she herself had envisioned it. Something had fallen into Tayvat. It wasn’t from another world like Aether was.. no. I was from a different universe entirely. The heavenly principles must be slacking. The source was all the way in Liyue by wangshu inn, where the first rock fell. It was just a rock, sure, but it didn’t belong here. Beur kept it to herself, hoping things would fix themselves. However as things kept repeating falling into this universe more frequently, the god began to worry. She could no longer stand idle while this was happening. It could be dangerous.. what if a person fell through? Would she even be able to help them?

Tanjiro did not want to be a demon. The idea of becoming a man-eating creature had never even crossed his mind, and if there had been a choice, then he would not have gone down this path. He did not want to kill, nor did he want to bathe in the blood of those he had killed.
But nothing was more important than his sister. If to protect his sister, he would have to become an abominable monster - then that would be fine, as long as he would not have to see her cold and lifeless, as long as he would not look at her and see a wretched corpse; because Nezuko was all that Tanjiro had left.
