Summary
A boy dreamed of fighting a war between 7 master's and their 7 cards all to attain a single wish to enter the Root.
The war was fought and eventually the boy and his friend won but what should have been a happy ending turned into one of despair as their world was coming to an end and selfishly the boy's friend used her wish to send him away to another world in order to live on. -

Summary
Natsuki Subaru didn't die during the loop where Rem tortures him in the forest and Ram manages to save him under Roswaal's orders.
However Rem has not only torn his right leg off but his left arm, right eye, and fried the nerves in his legs causing him to always be in a state of agony.
What is left of the poor boy who had only wanted to help save and protect everyone is someone who is not only traumatized but full of despair, hatred, and paranoia.
OR
Basically Subaru ends up a bit like Wrathbaru but not completely evil and Ram didn't sever his head or leg like she originally did to give him mercy and Satella/Envy has updated the checkpoint to an hour after he was saved so Subaru cannot go back to the first day of the mansion.
